Identifish helps you identify every fish species you ever catch, find the best fishing spots, and share with your friends your successes.

Have you ever caught a fish and wondered what it was? Now you never have to wonder again! Snap a photo and Identifish will tell you what species it is and all its characteristics. And the best part? It works anywhere.
Check what a fishing spot will be like before you get there. Identifish keeps up-to-date weather information, tide times, moon phases, current patterns, water temperatures, and existing fish in any spot on your map, so you can plan a great fishing trip.

We built Identifish with people of all ages and the whole range of fishing expertise in mind.
Make use of our app’s database and interactions to get the most out of your catches.
Snap a picture of your catch and Identifish will use its exhaustive database to help you identify any fish. Learn more about marine life with every fish you catch.
Use Identifish’s measuring tool using augmented reality technology to record accurate measurements of each species you catch. You can utilize this feature to join the Identifish “Leader board” to see where you rank for best catches of each species.
Keep track of fishing spots by geotagging any location anywhere, tracking local weather, sea conditions and fish found in the area at different times of the year. More so, manually input longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates in the search bar so you can use Identifish to locate your secret fishing locations or reefs well out to sea.
Every catch you snap a photo of is included in your personal profile. Keep track of your personal fishing experience and share your best catches with your friends on social media.
Keep yourself informed about regulation changes, fishing seasons, local or national competitions and other relevant news in the dedicated News and Regulations section.
The SOS button is a safety feature added as a fail safe in the event of an EPIRB failure. If needed and activated it will send your longitudinal & latitudinal coordinates to the nearest coast guard & selected contacts, in a series of messages to show a pattern of the speed & direction your vessel is drifting and in the worst case sinking to ensure your rescue as soon as possible.
